Inge Seaboyer, NH Division of Forests & Lands Forester, is leading a public walk of the proposed 2021 Pisgah State Park Habitat area timber harvest on September 22, 2020 at 10 AM at the Horseshoe Rd Trailhead behind Chesterfield Elementary School.  The timber harvest area includes the Habitat Trail, beaver pond, Secret trail and Ski trail areas between the Old Chesterfield Road and the South Woods Trail.

The New Hampshire Division of Forests & Lands will be leading an informational walk on the north end of Pisgah State Park on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. This walk will highlight the upcoming timber sale and wildlife habitat improvement project taking place in 2021. Interested parties should meet Inge Seaboyer (the forester in charge of the project) and Scott Rolfe (the Regional Forester) at the Horseshoe Road, Chesterfield parking lot at 10 a.m. The walk will occur rain, or shine, so please dress accordingly and wear the appropriate footwear for hiking.

Due to Covid 19 protocols and procedures, you must pre-register to attend this timber sale walk. There will be a limit of 25 attendees. Register by Tuesday, October 6th by contacting Robin Trombley at (603) 271-2214 or email
