Krister Raasoch, Gary Montgomery, Matt Edson, John Hudachek and trails chief John Herrick gathered at the Horseshoe Trailhead to finish cleaning up brush and trees on the road leading to the Horseshoe Trailhead.  Gary Montgomery brought his lawn mower and cut the grass around the Harlan Fiste Stone's birthplace foundation and the entrance to the park.

John Herrick towed a 12" chipper donated for our use for the day by Trevor Griffin.  The chipper was kept busy all day being fed brush cut during our June trail maintenance.  Additionally shrubs and trees were cut and quickly fed into the chipper.

Special thanks to Trevor Griffin for allowing us to use his chipper.  Also thank you first time helper Krister Raasoch who worked relentlessly feeding the chipper all day.  The cleanup of the Horseshoe Road entrance to the park is now complete and drainage work may now begin.
